We often hear news like this: Mr. Zhang's son went on a trip and spent hundreds of thousands of yuan to buy a jade bracelet for his girlfriend. He found out it was fake a week after returning home, which made him feel upset and ashamed. In fact, this is true anywhere and on any platform. As long as there is an environment where goods can be traded freely, product fraud may occur. Therefore, before purchasing high-value goods, you must learn the relevant knowledge to avoid being deceived. Jade on the market can be divided into four types: A, B, C, and D. The so-called A grade: It is pure natural jade, which has only been carved and polished, without any chemical dyeing, high temperature and high pressure artificial forgery, and has natural color. Man takes care of jade for three years, and jade takes care of man for a lifetime. Jade contains more than 30 trace elements needed by the human body, including selenium, zinc, nickel, cobalt, manganese, magnesium, calcium, etc. Long-term effects on the human body can enhance metabolism and promote blood circulation. As a person who has been engaged in the jade industry for more than ten years, I hope to teach everyone how to choose jade through my experience. Shopping malls usually display some low-end jadeite. Those jadeite with price tags of hundreds or thousands are basically low-end bean-type jadeite with a wholesale price of around one hundred yuan. This kind of jadeite has no room for appreciation and no value for circulation. The quality of jade refers to the density of jade, which refers to the coarseness and density of the crystal particles that make up the jade. The water head of jade refers to the transparency of jade, that is, its transparency. The quality of jade refers to the density and transparency of jade, and is one of the standards used to measure the quality and value of jade. In general, there is no necessary connection between the type and water content of jadeite. Generally speaking, jadeite with good quality also has good water content. The water quality of jadeite of poor quality is not very good. However, some jadeite has poor quality but good water content, which is what the industry often refers to as tender quality and long water content. B-grade jadeite: It is taken from the English word Bathe, which means to wash. It refers to the process of soaking, corroding and dissolving impurities and stains in low-quality natural jade with strong acid to make it visually clear and transparent. The structure of jadeite after acid etching is loose, and it is necessary to use the vacuum negative pressure method to inject transparent resin into it. The jadeite processed by this method is almost the same as high-end jadeite after polishing. The easiest way to identify B-grade jadeite is to listen to the sound. Natural A-grade jade has a crisp and translucent sound. The sound of B-grade jadeite is turbid and dull. Natural jade is beautiful and stunning, so it has always been loved by people. China's jade culture also has a long history, but there are also many processed jade products. After being processed by means of dyeing, jade is sold by some unscrupulous businessmen to obtain high profits. Identifying the authenticity of jade is also a big problem that gives people a headache. After all, jade jewelry itself is relatively expensive, and counterfeiting methods are even more difficult to guard against. If you are not careful, you may suffer a big loss. When it comes to identifying jadeite products using the naked eye or other means, the main consideration is three angles: surface, structure and color. However, we cannot measure hardness, density, refractive index, etc. without instruments. Here, I will introduce you to a few simple tips. C-grade jade is jade that has been artificially dyed. That is, color is added artificially to colorless jade or jade with less attractive colors. This kind of jade is relatively easy to identify. You just need to look at it against the light. The color distribution of dyed jade is along the cracks, which is very unnatural and has no spirituality. The dip dye color will fade over time. This kind of jade is cheap, but it is very harmful to the human body. It cannot be worn close to the body. It is just a decoration. Don't try to get a bargain when buying it. Most fake jade is colored, and is chemically treated to wash away impurities, fill with color, and then add glue. Through the color, we can see that the color roots of fake jade are generally floating on the surface, the edges of the color roots are very blurred and cannot be seen clearly, and they are basically in the shape of clumps or blocks, and cannot penetrate into the interior of the jade. The color roots of natural jade are very clear and distinct. The direction of the color root can be clearly seen. D-grade jadeite, which is said to be jadeite, is actually not jadeite. Instead, it is a cheap jade that looks very similar to jadeite, such as water jade, Xiuyan jade, jasper, Australian jade, green glass, etc. In fact, no matter how sophisticated the methods of illegal merchants are, fake is still fake after all. As long as everyone carefully identifies and studies hard, they will be able to distinguish the authenticity. The simplest method is to measure the density. As long as you have junior high school math knowledge, know the formula for calculating density, have a glass of water and a scale, you can do it. We can use a magnifying glass to observe that fake jade has pits and bumps on the surface similar to "orange peel" because it has been treated with strong acid. This is the most easily observed feature of fake jade. However, some jadeite with poorer quality or old jadeite unearthed may also have similar effects on the surface due to natural corrosion. Natural jade all has a "fly-wing" structure, but some processed jade products also show similar characteristics. The structure of processed jade products is loose and not dense enough, and after being filled with glue, most of them have a waxy luster on the surface. Fake jade that has been dyed will have a "network structure" of color roots inside, and some of them have dot-like color roots with pigment deposits. The density of jadeite is between 3.30 and 3.36, usually 3.333. The density of jadeite after artificial processing will naturally change accordingly. Jadeite that is not between 3.30 and 3.36 can be regarded as non-A grade jadeite. Secondly, everyone must do their homework before purchasing, and must not consume impulsively or blindly. Jade is almost always worn close to the body, and inferior artificial imitation jade can cause great harm to the human body, so please purchase with caution. The above three methods are the main methods for identifying fake jadeite, and they need to be combined for comprehensive judgment. For example, look at the relationship between water quality and color. Some jades have poor texture but very good color. This is the "inconsistency between water quality and color", and can basically be judged as fake jade. For novices, it is important to look at the certificate when buying jadeite. It is best to take it to an appraisal center for testing in person. Only certificates issued by a nationally recognized appraisal center will not be error-free. People usually call natural A-grade jade real, and call processed and colored B and C jade, as well as jadeite such as water foam, Malay jade, glass, and plastic pressed products that impersonate jade fake. Due to the relationship between mineral resources and mining volume as well as the specific conditions of high demand among people, there are currently few high-quality Burmese jades on the market. In particular, there are very few varieties with emerald green color and translucent base. If you see it on the market and the price is very cheap, it is most likely B or C. Generally, varieties such as seedling green, spinach green, jade color or violet floating flowers are common. When observed with the naked eye under light, it has a fine texture, soft color, and obvious stone patterns; it makes a crisp and pleasant sound when lightly bumped; it feels heavy in the hand, which is clearly different from other stones. (1) The color of B goods is good at first, but upon closer inspection, the color becomes dull and weird. When observed under light, the color transparency decreases. (2) B-grade jade will gradually lose its luster, become covered with cracks and become ugly within two years. This is caused by the destruction of its original quality by strong acids. (3) Density decreases and weight is reduced. With a slight impact, the sound becomes muffled and loses the crisp sound of the A-grade products. (1) At first glance, the color is not right and looks evil. Commonly known as fake at first glance. (2) Looking closely under the light, the color does not exist naturally inside the jadeite crystals, but is filled in the cracks of the minerals, showing a network distribution without color roots. (3) When observed through a Charles filter, green turns red or colorless. Is there much room for jadeite to appreciate in value? Some jadeite of average quality, average carving and average price can be bought for one or two hundred yuan or even dozens of yuan. This kind of jade has poor conditions, so even if it is natural A-grade jade, its appreciation potential is extremely limited. As far as the current jade market is concerned, the prices of mid- and high-end jade are indeed rising. At every jewelry auction every year, there are wealthy businessmen and celebrities willing to pay huge prices to buy jadeite, which shows that the market space for jadeite is huge. However, for the vast majority of low-end jadeite, there is almost no possibility of resale or appreciation, so they have little collection value. Therefore, for those jadeite that are too low-end and have no special features, we can just choose based on our own preferences when purchasing. If you want to collect it, that’s fine, but the appreciation potential of low-end jadeite is very limited. Jadeite that is not worth collecting has many common characteristics. For example, jadeite with an opaque and rough texture, jadeite with an evil, overly dull, and dull color, and jadeite with particularly complicated processing technology. Good quality and water quality are one of the most important factors in determining the value of jadeite. Jadeite with good water quality has fine texture, crystal clearness and vivid color. Only such jadeite can have broad appreciation space. The grade of jade is closely related to its color. The color of high-quality jade has four characteristics: rich, bright, brilliant, correct and uniform. "Nong" mainly refers to the saturation of color; "yang" refers to the transparency of color; "zheng" means the color is pure and has no other colors; "yi" means the uniformity of color should be uniform. Jadeite with excellent quality and color has high collection value and huge room for appreciation fcgc66 fcpf18 |
