Can jade be interpreted in this way? 99% of people can understand it!

Jade is beautiful but also mysterious. Its various characteristics are so profound and complex that many people still find it difficult to understand even after repeated popular science education. Today, I will explain jadeite to you in a different way.

The Blood Vessels of Jadeite - Color Roots

The color root of jadeite is a darker vein-like form formed by the intrusion of secondary colors during the jadeite mineralization process.

There are many shades of emerald roots, including blue, green, black, etc., transitioning from dark to light.

The color roots mainly have the shapes of filaments, bands, and clusters , so they look very much like the blood vessels throughout the human body.

The texture of jadeite - cotton

Cotton is also a unique characteristic of jade. It is generally composed of translucent or slightly transparent white minerals , appearing in the form of patches, strips, filaments, and ripples.

Generally speaking, the coarser the jade, the more obvious the cotton is.

But the more transparent the jade is, the clearer the cotton inside is. Especially in glass-type jade, the delicate, clear and fine cotton is called "snowflake cotton", which is very artistic.

Cotton is a naturally formed product of jade, just like human texture. It may not be ideal at times, but it is not unacceptable.

Scars of Jadeite - Stone Patterns

In daily life, people sometimes get hurt, leaving indelible scars on their bodies, and the same is true for jade. During its formation process, jade has undergone countless geological movements, squeezing, collision, and pulling, causing some crystals to be destroyed and cracks to form.

Some traces will gradually heal over time and restore their original firmness, but scars will be left behind. These are healed cracks, commonly known as "stone patterns" .

Stone patterns are a common phenomenon in jadeite, and there is a saying in the industry that "nine out of ten jades have stone patterns". In natural raw materials, almost every piece has stone patterns. Although it does affect the beauty of jade, it is not its fatal flaw.

Moles on Jadeite - Impurities

During the formation process of jadeite, it is invaded by secondary minerals. After its cracks heal, dot-shaped black substances are formed inside the jade. Most of them are compounds of divalent iron or trivalent iron.
