1. Seed

2. Water

"Water" is an important factor in jadeite evaluation, commonly known as "water head" in the industry. Jadeite with high transparency has sufficient water head. Such jadeite appears crystal clear and gives people a watery feeling, while jadeite with poor transparency is dry and dull, giving people a dry feeling, that is, jadeite with poor water head and insufficient water. The degree of transparency of jade can be roughly divided into transparent, relatively transparent, translucent, slightly transparent and opaque. The more transparent the jade is, the higher its value.

3. Color

Common colors of jade include green, white, red, purple, yellow, etc. Among them, the green one is the best variety. If a piece of jade has green, red and violet, it is also a very rare jade.

4. Work

"Gong" refers to the shape, workmanship, and weight of a finished jade product. It should be pointed out that due to the differences in designers, craftsmanship, cultural connotations, production years, volume, etc., each piece has its own characteristics. A good jade with exquisite carving will be more expensive than jade of the same quality.

When selecting jadeite, we should not just look at its quality or color. We must make a comprehensive analysis and judgment to see whether these four aspects are coordinated. We must look at it more and analyze more.
