The jade color in jade refers to the fact that jade is broken and deposited due to exogenous dynamics when it is formed. During the burial process, the divalent iron in the outside world and the jade itself turns into trivalent iron, and forms a transitional red series of colors from thick to thin, from deep to shallow, between the outer skin of the jade rough material and the internal flesh. Due to the hard texture and density of jade, the process of divalent iron turning into trivalent iron is very slow. If it is buried deeper, the oxidation reaction will proceed even slower. Therefore, the jade material formed is generally thinner, so there are relatively few single-piece jade-colored finished products.

Jade color can be divided into two major series: red series and yellow series.

Some merchants will say "yellow and green", but in fact it is "yellow plus green", and the yellow does not "sandwich" the green. Even if it is real yellow with green, it still depends on whether the yellow is bright and appropriate, whether the green is rich and vivid, and whether the two are coordinated. Only objects with two colors intersecting and harmonious colors are top-quality yellow with green.
