The jadeite raw stone undergoes continuous processing and polishing before it can finally be reborn and become something that people can’t let go of. The Chinese have unique experience in jade processing. Craftsmen are best at utilizing jade raw materials and bringing out the characteristics of the raw materials, thus achieving beautiful and material-saving effects. According to their uses, finished jade products can be mainly divided into two categories: the first type: jewelry; the second type: ornaments.

The processing methods of jade may vary in the hands of different masters, but generally they still inherit the traditional procedures.

1. Material review:

Analyze the jade raw materials, observe the color, check the direction of cracks, and according to its own characteristics, take the best color, avoid large cracks, and maximize the retention of its value.

2. Opening stone:

Cutting the stone refers to the first cut of the original stone, which is usually cut along the crack, trying to keep the perfect part as much as possible.

3. Slicing:

Based on the effect of the first cut and analyzing the characteristics of the material's contents, the material will generally be sliced ​​according to the thickness of the bracelet. Bracelets reflect the maximum value of jadeite raw stones.

4. Take the bracelet:

If the effect after slicing is ideal and there are no cracks, then choose the best position on the sheet to circle out the bracelet, press the bracelet blank, polish and wax it to make the finished product.

Five: Design graphics:

If the sliced ​​material does not meet the standards for making bracelets, designs such as patterns, landscapes, brands, random shapes, and free-form brands can be made based on the characteristics of the material.

6. Processing and carving

Carry out rough processing and fine carving according to the designed graphics.
