The humble jadeite stone is carved into a unique carrot

As the saying goes, "one carrot, one hole", life is like a carrot. No matter when, you need to be down-to-earth and find your own position. In the Minnan dialect, radish is called "cai tou", which is homophonic with "cai tou", which means "cai tou", and therefore has the meaning of getting rich and welcoming good luck. Because radish has simple yet beautiful meaning, it is often carved into the works of skilled jade carvers.

With green leaves and white stems, two small radishes are firmly rooted in the soil. Next to them is a cute little gray rabbit waiting for an opportunity to move. Clusters of succulents are growing vigorously around them. At first glance, they are so beautiful that it is hard to tell the real from the fake.

These two pieces of jade do not look very eye-catching, otherwise how can we say that the jade carving master has such ingenious ideas and exquisite craftsmanship? If it were us, we would definitely not be interested in seeing a stone with poor water quality and many cracks, let alone carving it into a radish.

The colors of the two original stones were cleverly used, green for leaves and white for stems, while avoiding cracks to complete the initial cutting. You know what, just looking at the rough draft is quite exciting.

The next step is to start carving. First, use a jade carving machine to grind out the basic shape, and then use a carving knife to process it bit by bit.

After that, it is finely carved to make every part round and delicate, and then polished to better show the natural luster of the jade itself.

The finished product is truly amazing. The master sculptor is bold and careful, using raw stone that can almost be called "waste material" to carve such an exquisite work. With the addition of the succulents that look like strings of coins as a backdrop, it is lifelike, vivid and lifelike.
