The jadeite raw stone I bought at an old Burmese stall for two thousand yuan turned out to be colorful after being cut, and I made my money back with just one brand!

The stone below is a half-mountain and half-water stone from the Damakan field. The material is not valuable and was bought from a Burmese stall by a friend for two thousand. In the same case, can you get what you want by starting with the small and building the big?

Let's analyze the stone first. It has a thin skin, and the water quality is excellent under the light. It has strong light transmittance, bright color, and a strong oiliness. It is worth mentioning that the one my friend chose is a good piece of material.

Then ask the chef to help cut it open to find out what's inside.

It looks good! This cut was ideal, revealing a purple base with a delicate texture. It is really surprising and extremely rare that the raw stone bought at a price of thousands of dollars can be cut into such good material. No matter whether it is betting on color, type or cracks, the effect after cutting has reached the extreme. What's more fortunate is that there are almost no cracks in several pieces of material, and they are perfect big brands.

As for the subject matter of the sign, the owner only needs to be of the material suitable for carving. This design depicts Buddha appearing when flowers bloom, full of charm and clever colors and carvings.

The sign below is designed with the theme of "Bo Le Selecting Horses", and the same method is used to experience it using the clever color carving technique.

The other two small pieces are designed with "Year after Year of Fish" and "Little Maitreya Buddha", which are common themes in the market.

Each finished product looks truly pleasing to the eye. From raw stones to finished products, a total of 7 works were produced. In terms of carving, the unconventional design concept also places very high demands on the sculptor, so these works, in general, have brought a lot of surprises.

The Damakan water stone on the market is almost extinct. No big companies have been mining it recently. Only stone pickers in Myanmar occasionally pick up this kind of stone, so if you get it, cherish it.
