The ingenious carvings always bring us different surprises

In the jade world, the most amazing work is carving. It is this traditional skill that turns decay into magic, using imagination and magical carving skills to give jade life, thereby creating magic and appearing before people in the form of a perfect artistic image.

But do you know? Because each jade carving work is the result of many times of modification and design discussion by the sculptor, it contains the time and energy devoted by the sculptor, as well as the bitterness and countless sweat that you can't imagine. Only in this way can a fine work be created, can its beauty truly shine through and be worth the money.

This is a piece of jadeite rough stone from the Damakan mine. The sculptor used the yellow jade just right, which coincides with the story of Nuwa repairing the sky. This is the first draft of the design.

Only by careful polishing and striving for perfection due to concentration can an exquisite work be obtained, and only such a work will be worthy of collection.

The carving is completed and the artistic conception is very strong. All that is left is polishing. As we all know, whether a piece of material is good or not ultimately depends on the polishing effect, so there is a big difference between polishing and not polishing.

After polishing, the piece looks like it has had a facelift. But because of this, a work truly has a soul and presents a better aesthetic. In fact, a good jade carving may appear static at first glance, but if you look closely, you can see the agility in the stillness and the spirit in the dullness. Jade carving emphasizes the fun of agility. Movement is the symbol of life, and the soul of jade carving is revealed in agility.

Nuwa, the goddess of creation in ancient Chinese mythology, also known as Wahuang and Nvyin, is the Nuwa clan in the Records of the Grand Historian. She is the forerunner of Chinese civilization and the deity who blesses the country.

According to legend, Nuwa created human beings and transformed into seventy different forms in one day. She used yellow mud to make human beings in the image of herself, created human society and established the marriage system. Because the sky was falling and the earth was sinking, she melted colored stones to repair the sky, and cut a turtle's feet to set up the four poles, leaving behind the mythical legend of Nuwa repairing the sky.

Nuwa is not only a heroic woman who repaired the sky and saved the world, and a goddess who created humans from clay, but also a natural god who created all things. She has great magical powers and can create at least seventy things every day. She created the world and is therefore called the Mother of the Earth. She is the creator god and original mother goddess who is widely and long worshipped by the people.

The creation of a fine jade artwork, from material selection to creation to finished product, is an imaginative process. Whether it is wild and imaginative, unrestrained, or quiet as a virgin, it is all planned out in advance. It is the carvers who transform one decayed piece after another into a work of life before people, so don’t forget the jade carvers behind this jade artifact; they are truly ordinary yet great people.
