This piece, "Picturesque Landscapes", must start with the center position. It is the gold medal work of the 2020 Tiangong Award. There are more than 70 winning works in this Tiangong Award, including 9 gold awards, 17 silver awards, 31 bronze awards, 10 best craftsmanship awards, and 10 best creativity awards. If you ask me which one among so many award-winning works is the most impressive, I think friends who have visited the exhibition will definitely mention "Picturesque Landscape".

The material used is so luxurious that friends who don’t know much about jadeite are amazed by it and say it’s worth a sea view apartment. Just like the award it won, its craftsmanship is truly exquisite and the lobster on it seems to be carved alive. The two teachers who carved this work are You Qinqiu and Chen Huang. The clever use of colors coupled with the lifelike craftsmanship makes it more beautiful the more you look at it. A friend said that after seeing this work, she could no longer bear to eat shrimps. Others looked at plums to quench their thirst, but she looked at shrimps to satisfy her hunger.

In addition to jadeite, there are many other materials that have won the Tiangong Award and are also very amazing, such as "The Twelve Golden Hairpins of Jinling" and "Arrogant and Cold Fragrance". However, although there are many winning works, many friends also said that compared with the Tiangong Awards in previous years, there are fewer and fewer works that can amaze people at first sight and be remembered for a long time. And perhaps due to changes in the times and aesthetics, many new and innovative themes have emerged, which make many friends feel that although they are beautiful, they lack the ancient charm and elegance of jade.
