The owners of jadeite always complain that they are losing a lot of money, so why do they still want to sell it? Are they acting?

Due to the impact of the epidemic, there are more owners selling jade through platforms and live broadcasts than before. However, many friends would ask, those cargo owners in live broadcasts always shout that they are losing a lot of money, losing a lot of money, are they really losing money? If you really lose money, why sell it? Those cargo owners are probably acting, as they keep selling goods while shouting that they are losing a lot of money.

Nowadays, many friends who like jade will watch live broadcasts of sales on various platforms. When it comes to the owners of the goods in those live broadcast rooms, many friends usually say that it is all a scam, and there are fakes and poor quality goods everywhere. After the beauty filter was turned on, the ordinary bean-type and glutinous-type goods, which were originally of relatively poor quality, suddenly became high-quality goods with good ice color. Then, with the owner exaggerating the whole process to sell the misery, many newbies thought that the owner was really losing money and bought the goods. As a result, the jadeite I got had all kinds of lines and cracks. Even though it was perfect, the quality of the jade was far from perfect.

It is undeniable that such situations are quite common. It can even be said that if you enter any live broadcast room, eight out of ten times you will hear the owner of the goods yelling that he will not sell anymore and is losing money. But while complaining about the loss, they were happily shipping the goods. Indeed, we all know that most of the cargo owners do not lose money, just like we all say, who would do business at a loss? We are not philanthropists. But sometimes, the cargo owners really do lose money.

For example, when the cargo owner goes to buy raw materials, although they now buy clear materials, they will still cut them into pieces. Friends who don’t know much about it may say, since we have bought clear material and we are not gambling on the stone, how could it be cut down? Yes, to put it simply, the clear material is sold after it is cut. Even if the surface we see is good, in fact, if you cut inside, you may still cut into hell. There may be a lot of cracks inside or the water quality may be much worse. Moreover, buying clear materials does not mean that the materials are of good quality and can all be used to make finished products. That is not the case.

To be more specific, the clear material will also have lines, cracks, sand holes, and mutated parts. After buying the raw materials, you still have to pick the good parts without problems so that you can make them into finished products that can be sold at a good price. For example, the owner spent hundreds of thousands to buy a piece of material, thinking that he could get a similar finished product, but what he got was either lines or cracks. In the end, the finished product was not even a decent bracelet. The only ones that could be sold at a high price were landscape brands and peace lockets, and those were only a few pitiful pieces, with a total value of less than 100,000. This situation is very normal.

But we don’t know the whole process. We only see that the owner sells a brand for a few thousand and a Guanyin for tens of thousands, and he is reluctant to sell it because of the pain. He keeps muttering that he is losing so much money, he is losing so much money, and he won’t sell it anymore. We only see that he sells jadeite for thousands or tens of thousands each, so we feel that what he sells are not ordinary goods. He will make hundreds of thousands of dollars after selling this batch. With so much money, how could he lose it all? In four words: it's a fake act. However, the fact is that he did suffer a huge loss, because he filled in hundreds of thousands of dollars for the materials in that batch of goods, not to mention labor and other investments. After investing hundreds of thousands, I only got back tens of thousands. If it were us, I guess few of us wouldn't feel the pain and complain about the huge losses.

Of course, some friends would say that those cargo owners will also have times when prices rise, and they will see more price increases than others, and they cannot continue to do business if they always lose money. That’s right, no one has the capital to continue doing a business that only loses money and never makes any profit. I share this only to let my friends better understand these jade owners. There are indeed some who are boastful, but there are also those who sell goods honestly. Don't habitually think that they are acting when they cry out for losses. I don't deny that there is some element of that, but objectively speaking, who sells something without shouting a few times and creating an atmosphere? Especially those platforms with live broadcast rooms, will anyone watch them if there is no atmosphere? If it was a super quiet live broadcast room, you would probably think there was something weird going on and quickly exit.

But then again, although we often hear people shouting that they have lost a lot of money. I still recommend friends not to buy jade with the idea of getting a bargain. The principle that you get what you pay for will never go out of date. It is impossible to buy the quality of jade worth thousands of dollars for a few hundred dollars, and it is even more impossible to buy a bracelet with full green and icy flowers for a few hundred dollars. No matter what the selling atmosphere is like, or how the owner and the anchor promote the product, you still have to stay calm and watch it yourself, and only buy if you really like it.
