I have previously introduced to you a special carving technique - carving with skin. Today I will continue to bring you such a piece of jade, a fine carving from Damakan that is half mountain and half water.

Let's look at this piece of material, a typical Damakan yellow sand skin, half mountain and half water, the sand is very fine, indicating that the water quality is very old, the original skin is intact, with a few small fine marks, it looks like a good piece of raw stone.

The material has already been opened, let’s take a look at the window directly. Sure enough, the quality of the jade is quite mature, the texture is icy and delicate, and the base is quite clean, undoubtedly ice type.

This is a preliminary design draft. With this design, there is no need to worry about whether the cracks in the material are deep or not. The material is also thick enough, so carving will be smoother and quite artistic!

Finished product delivery! The Buddha's shadow is visible in the mountain Buddhist cave, which is full of Zen. The color difference between the skin and the meat is used to the fullest extent. Carving with the skin can better show the texture of the meat, which is delicate and moist. In addition to the unique design with skin, the water quality of the material is also very good when the pile is very full and thick. The work retains the original appearance of the jadeite stone, looking beautiful without losing its value. Compared with peeling and carving, it has a more charming flavor.
