How to polish jade ring face

How to polish jade ring face

We often use jade egg-shaped faces when doing inlay. The quality of the egg-shaped faces is very good, but they will always wear out after wearing for a long time. So how should we grind and polish the jade ring faces?

1. If the wear or scratches are severe, it is recommended to remove the jade ring face and perform simple polishing. The polishing at this time should be light, skillful, and economical to preserve the integrity of the jade ring face to the greatest extent.

2. Polish and wax again. If the wear is not serious, remove the ring face, polish it simply, then wax it and set it before wearing.

3. The ring face may be loose and misaligned after being processed and then set again. If conditions permit, the ring setting can be replaced to better protect the ring face.
