Because the pigments in colored jade will absorb and block light to a certain extent, which is what we often call color pressure, the colored glass type must not be as transparent as the colorless one, but it must have fluoresce. The color of imperial jade green is not only pure but also rich. In addition, it must be matched with good water quality. It must at least reach ice quality to be called imperial green. If the color is dull, no matter how rich it is, it cannot be called imperial green. The words glass quality and imperial green may be often heard when people buy jadeite, but in fact people in the industry rarely mention them when they examine the goods, because most of the materials do not reach that level.
