First: Outline

The outlines of jade ring faces include egg-shaped (oval), pear-shaped, marquise-shaped, saddle-shaped, heart-shaped, crescent-shaped, rectangular, etc., with egg-shaped being the most common;

The outlines of jadeite bracelets are round and flat, and round bracelets are divided into thick and thin rods.

Second: Symmetry

Jadeite emphasizes full shape and neat workmanship. For jadeite ring faces, whether it is egg-shaped, marquise-shaped or other shapes, it is required to have good symmetry. If the bottom surface is uneven or asymmetrical on the left and right, it will reduce its value. For jade bracelets, symmetry is reflected in the uniformity of the diameter of the stem.

The appropriate length-to-width ratio creates the beauty of jade's appearance. The width, thickness and inner diameter of the jade bracelet should also be coordinated to show its perfection.

Fourth: Thickness and curvature

For a plain egg-shaped jadeite ring face, its thickness and the curvature of the top surface are more important than its outline, because a ring face with a certain thickness and curvature has a better optical effect than a relatively flat and thin ring face.

The price of jade is a very complicated issue. There are many factors that restrict the price because the green color and other conditions vary infinitely.
